Tommy James and his All Stars will be performing this evening at our 2016 Black Tie Dance at the Smithtown Brush Barn.
Many of us will be dressed to the nines but please understand that Black Tie is optional.
A beginner East Coast lesson will be given at 7:30PM to get you on the floor. A few ballroom dances will be in the mix as well.
No partner is needed and beginners are always welcome.

Brush BarnThe Smithtown Historical Society’s Brush Barn is located behind the historic Epenetus Smith Tavern at 211 East Main Street, Smithtown NY 11787 and is not visible from the street. About 0.2 miles east on Main Street from the intersection of Route 111 and Route 25 (Main Street). There is a white house that is #211 (Epenetus Smith Tavern) and a gravel drive beside the house.

A beginner East Coast lesson will be given at 7:30PM to get you on the floor. At 8PM our DJs will be playing some of their great swing dance tunes. A few ballroom dances will be in the mix as well. A hot buffet will be available this evening for $5 additional.
The recently renovated Moose Lodge has a fabulous, HUGE 1000 square foot dance floor, freshly painted walls, new ceiling, new lighting & plenty of tables to relax and chat.
No partner is needed and beginners are always welcome.

This popular New York based band performs the most swinging and grooving repertoire deeply steeped in the New Orleans tradition; from early jazz to early R&B in the aesthetic of Sidney Bechet, Fats Waller, Professor Longhair and even Fats Domino!
Formed by in-demand reedman and vocalist Adrian Cunningham - Australian native based in NYC, - the ensemble consists of some of the most energetic and accomplished musicians on the New York scene. It has been a regular hit in the NYC underground party and swing dance scene since it’s formation in 2012; performing at some of the city’s finest speakeasy shows (Shanghai Mermaid, Gemini and Scorpio, NY Hot Jazz Festival) and regularly performing to packed houses at some of the city’s best swing venues (Cutting Room, Swing 46, The Back Room).
