Fleur Seule Band are performing for us tonight at the Huntington Moose Lodge.
Beginner swing dance lesson at 7:30PM. The band goes on at 8PM and ends at 11PM.
This is the evening that SDLI likes to get dressed up. Some of the gents actually wear their tuxes.
No partner is necessary and beginners are always welcome.

Fleur Seule plays Swing Era hits, Jazz standards, and Ballroom classics that will transport you to the 1940s: The times of big bands and glamorous evenings of live music and dancing in clubs renowned for their entertainment, Hollywood profiles, and musical variety. Led by vocalist Allyson Briggs, this dynamic band of old souls will have you humming along to timeless music. The recently renovated Moose Lodge has a fabulous, HUGE 1000 square foot dance floor, freshly painted walls, new ceiling, new lighting & plenty of tables to relax and chat.
No partner is needed and beginners are always welcome.

Tuesday, Jan 14, 2020 • Swing Dance with West Coast Swing lesson • SDLI
This evening, Ellen will be teaching a Country Two Step Lesson starting @ 6:45 for $5.00 additional.
A beginner west coast swing lesson given by Ellen will be given at 7:30PM to get you on the floor. At 8PM our DJs will be playing some of their great swing dance tunes. A few ballroom dances will be in the mix as well.

At age 16, Ellen’s love of dance began when she went square dancing with her parents. She later studied Country Dancing which included Texas Two Step, Line Dancing, Lindy Hop, West Coast Swing, Waltz and Cha Cha. From there she branched out into Ballroom Dancing. She has been in two performance groups, the Sundancers and the Lindy Hoppers, She has won several Jack & Jill contests over the years in West Coast Swing and Two Step. Although an accomplished dancer, Ellen thinks her main skill is making dance fun for her students whatever their level of accomplishment....particularly for those who are newcomers to the world of dance.
