Will someone please tell Punxsutawney Phil that Swing Dance Long Island is having Swing Dances the first Saturday of every month.
Don’t be like Phil and be hunkered down this whole winter. Get out and swing dance.
Join a friendly group of people for a mix of East Coast Swing, Savoy Lindy Hop, Hollywood Lindy, West Coast Swing, Balboa, Collegiate Shag and some Ballroom dancing. No partner is needed and beginners are welcome.
We meet at the Smithtown Historical Society’s Brush Barn. Beginner swing lesson at 7:30 PM, with dancing between 8:00 PM and 11:00 PM.
Swing Dance Long Island, Inc. is an all volunteer, not for profit organization dedicated to the promotion of swing dancing on Long Island, New York.
